Goldberg Segalla Named Insurance Law Firm of the Year; Global Insurance Services Group Partner Rated Top in U.S. October 2014
Lawyer Monthly recognized Goldberg Segalla’s status as the preeminent law firm serving the global insurance and reinsurance community by awarding the firm three top honors in its 2014 Legal Awards.
The international publication named Goldberg Segalla the USA Insurance Law Firm of the Year, and New York partner Daniel W. Gerber earned USA Insurance and Reinsurance Lawyer of the Year.
These honors come amid a rapid succession of high-profile recognitions for the firm and its Global Insurance Services Practice Group. This month, Goldberg Segalla also earned a ranking in Insurance and Reinsurance Litigation in the Legal 500 United Kingdom. In June, the firm received the Law Firm of the Year award from Reactions at the prominent insurance and reinsurance publication’s 2014 London Market Awards. In September, it was a finalist for Intelligent Insurer’s Global Law Firm of the Year award for the second consecutive year.
Mr. Gerber is Co-Chair and administrator of the firm’s Global Insurance Services team. He is Chair of the Life, Health, and Disability Committee of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), a past chair of DRI’s Insurance Roundtable, the immediate-past Chair of the Insurance and Reinsurance Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel, and an ARIAS-U.S.-Certified Arbitrator. He is also recognized in the 2014 insurance and reinsurance directories published by the international Who’s Who Legal and Expert Guides, among other honors.
