Suzanne M. Bachovin Suzanne M. Bachovin has extensive experience in the defense of medical malpractice claims against physicians, medical practice groups, hospitals, community clinics and nurses. Her practice also focuses on claims involving medical device and products liability as well as investigational research studies and institutional review board liability. Ms. Bachovin has represented clients and litigated claims in all areas of adult and pediatric medicine, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, oncology, critical care, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics, emergency medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, general surgery, internal medicine, family practice, pulmonology and psychiatry. Ms. Bachovin represents healthcare professionals in peer review proceedings, professional credentialing reviews and state board investigations. She has successfully represented clients in all phases of litigation through trial in all counties from central Pennsylvania to the east coast of New Jersey. Ms. Bachovin has also prevailed on defense verdicts from trial that were appealed through the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Her diverse practice includes her role as regional counsel for a major commercial trucking company and litigation of catastrophic injuries in commercial trucking throughout the eastern states. She is defense litigation counsel to catastrophic injury claims in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Ms. Bachovin has earned the highly respected "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Bachovin was a registered nurse and worked at major teaching hospitals in Philadelphia in the intensive care units for surgical, trauma, organ transplant, infectious disease and pediatric and neonatal specialties. She was also a nursing administrator in intensive care units, emergency rooms and obstetric departments.
