Michael D. Brophy Michael D. Brophy is a seasoned trial attorney with 25 years of experience. Resident in the firm's Philadelphia office, he concentrates his practice primarily on the defense of medical and psychiatric malpractice claims. Mr. Brophy's success rate exceeds 90 percent in more than 50 major cases he has taken to verdict. In addition to traditional litigation activities, he has an active mediation practice and was a mediator in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1996. Mr. Brophy has also served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Court of Common Pleas from 2005 to the present.
