Matthew J. McDermott
 Matthew J. McDermott concentrates his practice on the challenging discipline of school district liability for assaults upon students, negligent supervision claims with respect to students with special needs and municipal liability. He has also developed an expertise in worksite injury litigation, handling many cases to a successful conclusion in venues throughout the five New York metropolitan boroughs. Mr. McDermott is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. He earned his law degree from Western New England School of Law, and held the position of senior note editor on the Western New England Law Review. Mr. McDermott is admitted to practice law in Connecticut as well as New York, and is admitted to various District Courts within New York State.
