Margaret A. Porcelli

Margaret A. Porcelli is a seasoned litigator whose track record boasts an extraordinary number of winning verdicts. Her trial career began as an Assistant District Attorney where she distinguished herself as a formidable trial counsel during a career that spanned eight years. As a prosecutor in Bronx County New York, she successfully prosecuted many high profile homicide cases.

Following her career in the public sector, Ms. Porcelli became Senior Trial Attorney and Counsel to several national insurance carriers. In that capacity she tried and defended high exposure complex cases including labor law, premise, and product liability.  She has litigated in both Federal and State court. Her defense verdicts were published frequently in the New York Jury Verdict Reporter. She has consulted and advised on trial issues and strategies throughout her litigation career.

Ms. Porcelli's expertise includes the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Before joining Goldberg Segalla she successfully mediated complex coverage actions and extra-contractual bad faith litigation throughout the United States on behalf of American International Group (AIG) as a member of its Coverage team.
