Andrea J. Smith Andrea J. Smith, Special Counsel to the firm, is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School. Ms. Smith has more than 15 years experience as a trial attorney and is a member of the firm's complex litigation and toxic tort teams.  Ms. Smith has represented both Fortune 500 companies and private individuals involving mass torts, and product liability, including drug and medical device, chemical and industrial equipment liability. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Smith practiced as a nurse in the New York metropolitan area. She was an adjunct professor at Mercy College in White Plains, New York from 2002 through 2009, teaching legal issues to legal nurse consultants and nurses.
