Joseph J. Welter
Joseph J. Welter is a partner in the firm's Buffalo, New York office. His practice includes the representation of local, national and international insurance carriers and self-insured companies in defense of personal injury lawsuits, including negligence, product liability and asbestos. He also represents clients in business litigation matters including insurance coverage, intellectual property and contract law.
Mr. Welter graduated summa cum laude from the City University of New York where he received the Leonard E. Reisman Award, the college's highest award for scholarship and service. He went on to attend Hofstra University of Law where he became associate editor on the Law Review. Mr. Welter wrote for the Environmental Law Journal, and taught federal civil procedure to first-year law students.
Mr. Welter was named to Buffalo Law Journal's/Business First's 2006 and 2007 Who's Who In Law. He possesses an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
