Albert D'Aquino is one of the firm's highly experienced trial attorneys. A partner of the firm, his practice includes product liability and trucking industry defense, professional malfeasance defense and litigation of cases presenting catastrophic damages. Al has served the legal needs of clients throughout New York State for 23 years, participating in some of the most difficult cases with many of the area's top trial lawyers.
On every case, Al strives to provide the highest quality and most cost-effective litigation services to his clients, taking an innovative and goal-oriented approach to trial and pre-trial proceedings. With his broad depth of trial experience, Al is responsible for trial technique training of associates in the firm's seven offices across New York State.
Al possesses excellent analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of legal precedents, balanced by a fierce commitment to fairness and justice, that make him a sought-after trial attorney. His practice includes product liability defense, trucking industry defense and professional malfeasance defense.
Product liability defense is one of the most complex and challenging areas of litigation. Al has the skills and experience necessary to present the most effective product liability defense. He has represented many regional and national corporations facing product liability involving an array of claims for personal injuries, property damages and economic losses. He currently serves as the President of the Professional Liability Defense Federation, a not-for-profit organization designed to bring together attorneys, claims professionals and risk management specialists to share expertise and information helpful to the successful defense of professional liability claims.
Al has earned a reputation for his experience in the defense of clients in the trucking industry, including cases involving personal injury and property damage. He represents insured and self-insured common carriers and private fleets in all aspects of defense litigation. He has been an invited speaker at Defense Research Institute (DRI) national meetings and has authored articles concerning successful accident reconstruction strategies and aggressive defense techniques.
Al has a long and successful track record of defending professionals facing claims of malpractice and malfeasance. His experience includes defending professional liability claims for a variety of professions including medical practices, attorneys and others.
