Bruce Hoover is a partner of the firm who concentrates his regional, statewide, and national practice representing businesses and not-for-profit organizations in (i) enforcing and defending creditor rights in bankruptcy, work-out, and collection proceedings; (ii) mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, start-up, governance, and dissolution; (iii) commercial real estate transactions and credit facilities; and (iv) all aspects of licensing, distribution, employment and trade secret agreements, and disputes.

  • National manufacturers in the defense of preference claims in the Bankruptcy Courts throughout New York state
  • A national insurer in seeking stay relief to terminate surety and fidelity obligations in Bankruptcy Court 
  • International manufacturers with licensing, product warranties, distribution and dealer negotiations and disputes
  • National insurers in enforcing their rights under various surety, fidelity, and fiduciary obligations
  • National manufacturer and energy companies in enforcing their rights as creditors in the Bankruptcy Courts throughout New York state
