Bryan Richmond complements his trial and appellate court experience in toxic tort, insurance and labor law litigation with an acute business sense and understanding of complex financial concepts and their business applications. He conducts global research regarding a wide array of importing guidelines to help manufacturers bring new products to market in various countries. His toxic tort experience includes successfully defending a building owner in lead paint exposure claims both at trial and on appeal. Bryan has represented workers’ compensation trusts before and after termination by the Workers’ Compensation Board and in ensuing litigation, and he has successfully argued workplace injury cases involving New York Labor Law 240(1).

Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, Bryan spent two years as an appellate court attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a tax accountant at Deloitte & Touche, where he gained firsthand experience working with clients on the preparation and analysis of financial statements and other critical business documents.

Bryan received the Wall Street Journal Award for graduating first in his class in the State University of New York at Albany School of Business, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He graduated cum laude from Albany Law School and served as Associate Editor of its Albany Law Review.
