Robert Hanlon, Jr. is a partner in the firm's Princeton, New Jersey office. He is an active trial attorney who has tried cases to verdict in nine different states. He concentrates his practice in the areas of product liability, transportation and catastrophic personal injury litigation.  Robert represents manufacturers of automobiles, trucks, buses, consumer products, children's toys and industrial equipment. On behalf of his automotive clients, he has tried cases involving design defect allegations related to roof structures, cruise control systems, transmissions, starter and shift interlocks, seats, brakes and airbag systems.  Robert is an experienced transportation litigator.  He serves as Regional Coordinating Counsel for a multi-national trucking and logistics company, and in that capacity he is responsible for overseeing and trying the company's catastrophic personal injury cases throughout the eastern United States.

Robert previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York from 1992-1996, during which time he tried felony cases as a member of the Violent Crimes Bureau. He served on the faculty of the inaugural American Board of Trial Advocates Trial College at Princeton University in 2010. He was recently appointed to the National Trial College Committe and he will serve again as a faculty member for the next Trial College, which will be held at Harvard Law School in 2012. Robert is also a member of the Products Liability Advisory Council and the International Association of Defense Counsel. He received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
