William O'Connell is a partner in the firm's White Plains office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of appellate advocacy, insurance coverage, products liability, worksite and premises liability, and general litigation. Bill has more than a decade of experience as a judicial law clerk in the New York state trial and appellate courts, where he participated in drafting more than 300 judicial opinions. He has served as Executive Assistant to the Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division, First Department, clerked for two Associate Justices of that court, and also worked for a criminal trial judge in New York County Supreme Court. He began his legal career prosecuting felony drug cases as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County.
