Sean Beiter Quoted on Orchard Park Police Dept. Consolidation Study September 15, 2011
Sean P. Beiter, Chair of Goldberg Segalla’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, was quoted by print and television news sources during their coverage of recent Orchard Park Town Board meetings in connection with the recommendations of a study that suggested the town should consider merging its police department with another, or at least sharing some services with another police department.
In his role as labor attorney for Orchard Park, Sean discussed the study's recommendations, potential implications, and a follow-up investigation at the September 7 and 14 meetings. “The town is faced with a dilemma,” Sean told the Buffalo News on September 7. “The cost of operating a police department is increasing faster than the town’s revenue.”
