Ellen H. Greiper Joins Goldberg Segalla May 21, 2012
Goldberg Segalla LLP is pleased to welcome Ellen H. Greiper as a partner in the law firm’s Garden City office.
Ms. Greiper has 26 years of experience defending multi-party construction defect cases in the federal and state courts of New York. She has litigated, through trial, high-exposure premises liability and labor law cases as well as large personal injury matters. She is admitted to practice in New York; New Jersey; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern Districts of New York; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Greiper has been appointed arbitrator for the district courts in Nassau County hearing no-fault and contract claims, as well as arbitrating attorney fee disputes brought in the Supreme Court. She is also a mediator for trial-ready cases in the Supreme Court, Nassau County. She is a frequent lecturer for legal organizations on emerging topics in the general liability and construction arenas.
Previously, Ms. Greiper was of counsel to Farber Brocks & Zane L.L.P., and before that she was a name partner at Gartner, Bloom & Greiper P.C. She received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1981 and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1985.
