Goldberg Segalla's Global Insurance Services Team Continues Growth in Philadelphia With Addition of Key Partner June 29, 2015
The growth for Goldberg Segalla’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group continues, with the firm announcing the addition of partner Louis H. Kozloff to its multi-practice Philadelphia office. Lou, a respected counselor who has two decades of experience in the insurance sphere, is the fifth insurance lawyer to join the firm in Philadelphia since early spring. His experience includes serving as Vice President and Chief Litigation Counsel for a large national insurance company — a further reflection that Goldberg Segalla is the law firm of choice for leading global insurers and reinsurers.
Lou represents insurers in coverage issues and bad faith disputes, including commercial general liability, construction defect, errors and omissions, and first-party property claims, and also defends complex liability claims for insureds. During his time spent as in-house counsel, Lou oversaw all litigation for the insurer, including class action matters involving claims practices and regulatory issues.
In Philadelphia, Lou joins partner and nationally known insurance attorney Michael A. Hamilton, partner Michael J. Kurtis, and special counsel Kevin M. Apollo, to strengthen the Global Insurance Services Practice Group in Pennsylvania. “I’m thrilled to be part of Goldberg Segalla’s dynamic team-focused paradigm and emphasis on client service,” Lou said. “The energy at the firm is palpable, and it’s exciting to be a part of it.”
