William G. Kelly Elected Chair of ABA Trial Techniques Committee September 14, 2011

William G. Kelly, a partner in Goldberg Segalla's White Plains office, has been elected chair of the Trial Techniques Committee of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section.

Bill has 30 years of trial experience and concentrates his practice on defending complex product liability and construction site litigation, as well as catastrophic damages cases. He holds a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

The Trial Techniques Committee addresses matters relating to the preparation and trial of legal actions involving issues of tort or insurance law, including the study, criticism and evaluation of techniques, tactics, stratagems and methods such as pleadings, pre-trial procedure, jury selection, admissibility of evidence, competency and qualification of witnesses, and courtroom ethics.
