Aaron Lawson assists with workers’ compensation matters for a wide variety of employers, insurers, and third-party administrators.

Aaron graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law where he was a member of the Justinian Honor Society and served as managing editor of the Syracuse Law Review. He simultaneously graduated with an M.P.A. at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where he studied subjects that enriched his career in law. While at Syracuse, Aaron volunteered with the Community Development Law Clinic, with a focus on small businesses and not-for-profits, earning the school’s Orange Award for over 100 hours of pro bono service.

Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Aaron served in the office of the Senate Finance Chair at the New York State Senate where he worked on general policy issues affecting New York State, gaining an extensive background in insurance, workers' compensation, and Medicaid. While earning his law degree, Aaron was a legal intern at the Administrative Law Division of the Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he assisted in representing state agencies and officials in civil litigation in state and federal court proceedings. Prior to attending law school, Aaron worked in human resources. Aaron’s background also includes disability, labor and employment, and product liability.
