Brandon Zeller represents insurers in all areas of litigation, and has extensive experience in construction defect and bad faith matters for insurers. He has particular experience handling environmental, liability, and coverage issues for clients in the oil and gas industry, as well as royalty disputes, downhole litigation, environmental claims regarding historical oil and gas operations, and offshore regulatory matters. Brandon also regularly handles environmental litigation involving the Clean Water Act and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).

In addition to handling litigation, Brandon writes for several of the firm’s publications, including the Environmental Law Monitor, the Insurance and Reinsurance Report, and the Asbestos Case Tracker, where he writes about coverage and allocation issues.

Brandon earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, during which he was a Senior Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy and a participant in its Emmett Environmental Law & Policy Clinic, where he represented renewable energy companies in administrative litigation and drafted assorted memoranda on various topics pertaining to environmental law. He also interned at the North Carolina Department of Justice.
