Courtney H. Klapper counsels insurers on a variety of complex coverage matters and handles all stages of insurance coverage litigation, from inception through trial and appeal. Her background also includes representing clients in high exposure and catastrophic injury cases with a focus on damages.

Courtney received her bachelor’s in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology from Hofstra University before going on to earn her Juris Doctor from the university’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Hofstra Law Review, vice president of the Student Bar Association, and member of the Dispute Resolution Society. Based on her commitment to Hofstra’s community, she received the prestigious Distinguished Service to the School award at graduation. As a law student, she was committed to providing pro bono legal services, and was awarded with the Gold Award in Public Service for devoting more than 750 hours to public service. During law school, Courtney served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Denise L. Sher of the Nassau County Supreme Court. In 2018, Courtney was recognized as one of Hofstra Law’s Outstanding Women in Law as an Emerging Leader.
