David J. Coppola is an associate in the firm’s Princeton office. He focuses his practice on representing clients in a broad range of general liability matters, and is involved in all aspects of the claims-handling process, from inception through trial and appeal, including mediation.

David received his bachelor’s in Political Science with a minor in English from Villanova University before going on to earn his law degree from Notre Dame Law School. As a law student, he served as senior articles editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law and worked as a legal intern in the school’s Community Development Clinic, where he handled matters related to startup businesses and non-profit corporations. He also externed with the City of South Bend’s Legal Department, interned with the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General, and volunteered with Legal Services of New Jersey’s Hurricane Sandy Legal Assistance project. Following law school, David served as a law clerk for the Honorable Donna M. Taylor in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic/Cape May Vicinage.

As an undergraduate at Villanova University, David interned with the Honorable Stephanie M. Wauters in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean Vicinage. He also served on the executive board of the university’s television network, and was a production assistant with Villanova Athletics. During college, David also founded a fundraiser that benefitted residents affected by Superstorm Sandy in Southern Ocean County, New Jersey.
