Hilary Dinkelspiel focuses her practice primarily on employment litigation and counseling as well as professional liability. Hilary has experience litigating disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, statutory violations, wrongful termination, breach of contract, wage and hour violations, and misappropriation of trade secrets, among others. She also advises employers regarding day-to-day counseling, including internal investigations, accommodations, disciplinary and performance issues, preventing discrimination and harassment, leaves of absence, human resources best practices, payroll practices, and litigation avoidance strategies. In addition, Hilary advises companies on Title III Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility compliance matters, defending primarily retail establishments and restaurants.  She is also experienced in handling claims involving ADA website accessibility exposure and trains and advises clients on risk prevention methods. 

As part of her professional liability practice, Hilary represents accountants, attorneys, insurance agents and brokers, and other professionals under errors and omissions and directors and officers policies. Hilary also has experience defending businesses and management in commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duties.

Hilary earned her J.D., with distinction, from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where she was Comment Editor of the Pacific McGeorge Global Business & Development Law Journal. She received her B.A. from Cornell University. In her free time, Hilary enjoys running marathons and ironman triathlons.
