Practice Groups

Maureen Edobor, an associate in the Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, counsels insurers, employers, and third-party administrators throughout Maryland on workers’ compensation issues and defends them before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Maureen earned her bachelor’s at the University of Texas at Arlington before going on to Washington and Lee School of Law, where she was an Andrew McThenia Research Fellow, a semifinalist in the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition, and later NBLSA Moot Court Coach. She also served as the NBLSA attorney general. Maureen gained experience in a variety of legal internships, including with Common Cause New York, the New York University School of Law Brennan Center for Justice, and the Congressional House Judiciary Committee. After graduating with her law degree, she gained additional experience as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Pamela J. White in the Baltimore City Circuit Court before serving as state affairs counsel to the American Association for Justice in Washington, D.C.
