Rina Lee focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense, representing large corporate clients in hearings before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board and at trial. Rina has extensive experience drafting and filing appeals, rebuttals, memoranda of law, and hearing reports. She is adept at reviewing and distilling complex medical files and conducting extensive legal research of statutes, case law, and city codes in order to best position her cases.

Rina also spent nearly three years as a staff attorney for New York State’s Special Funds Conservation Committee, representing the entity at hearings and negotiating settlements on its behalf.

While earning her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, Rina held legal internships with the Federal Trade Commission and the Office of the Georgia Attorney General. She was a Merit Scholar recipient and a semi-finalist in the Emory Moot Court Competition, and also was actively involved in its Asian-American Law Student Association. She served as a Facilitator for Emory’s Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques.
