Daniel Lust Named Inaugural Co-Chair of Tech Law Committee for the Westchester County Bar Association

October 30, 2019

Daniel E. Lust, an associate in Goldberg Segalla’s General Liability and Sports and Entertainment practices, has been named the inaugural co-chair of the Tech Law Committee for the Westchester County Bar Association (WCBA).

The Tech Law Committee was created to keep WCBA attorneys on top of the latest trends in technology. Its mission is to provide attorneys with information on emerging technology and opportunities to improve their overall practice with adjusted trial strategy, juror research, protection of privileged client information, and multi-layered advertising efforts. As co-chair, Dan plans to create a valuable forum to discuss a wide change of technology-specific issues, including social media, cybersecurity, and wearable technology.

“This is the culmination of years’ worth of publishing and presenting on technology,” says Dan. “I am tremendously grateful for the empowering culture of Goldberg Segalla where thought leadership is encouraged and valued as highly as anything else. This new role is truly an honor as it provides an even larger platform to educate on how the injection of technology adds a dynamic layer to our profession—much like baseball’s sabermetric movement once upon a time.”
