Danielle N. Malaty Discusses Joining Goldberg Segalla with Law360

June 28, 2022

In an interview with Law360, Danielle N. Malaty discussed joining Goldberg Segalla’s Employment and Labor group and leading the practice in Chicago.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity to lead [Goldberg Segalla’s] employment practice into the Chicago area. I’ve always had a great deal of respect for the attorneys here,” Danielle said about joining the firm.

Danielle also discussed her career thus far and her approach to representing clients in various industries in allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace misconduct.

“My strength is the breadth of my representation,” she explained. “I prefer not to put limits on it. I enjoy applying the same laws to different employment contexts. It’s valuable to clients because I have a perspective on liability that’s not just generic but is curated around their needs and legal obligations.”

When discussing solutions, Danielle expressed how important it is to facilitate relationships between counsels and work on a solution together.

“I really value my relationships with clients,” she said. “Bringing them good results that were not anticipated is my favorite.”
