Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce partner Danielle N. Malaty has been selected a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, an exclusive, invitation-only international organization of civil defense attorneys in private practice, in-house counsel, risk managers, and insurance claims professionals.
Danielle, who is one of Goldberg Segalla’s newest partners in the Chicago office, is the ninth Goldberg Segalla attorney to be made a member of the FDCC, which dedicates itself to the principles of knowledge, justice, and fellowship. She joins partners Neil A. Goldberg, Thomas F. Segalla, Caroline J. Berdzik, Michael D. Shalhoub, David S. Osterman, Paul L. Knobbe, Michael T. Glascott (2020-21 FDCC President), and Imoh E. Akpan. FDCC membership is limited, and its Board of Directors upon recommendation elects new members from a stringent Admissions Committee. Danielle joins a select group of 1,400 defense attorneys from the U.S., Australia, Canada, and Europe.
Danielle N. Malaty is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney who focuses her practice on counseling and defending a broad range of businesses, public entities, insurers, and professionals in all aspects of employment and labor matters, including claims alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace misconduct. Danielle also has litigation experience with premises liability, product liability, professional liability, community association law, and subrogation. She has defended clients in both state and federal courts as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
