Goldberg Segalla added associate Alexander J. Blood to the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Arbitration group in Syracuse.

Alex concentrates his practice on representing a wide variety of clients in business disputes and related litigation. His experience also includes defending medical professional liability, casualty and premises liability, and insurance coverage matters. Prior to joining private practice, Alex served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Gregory L. Acquaviva in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division – Family Part.

Alex earned his bachelor’s degree at Niagara University and his juris doctor at Syracuse University College of Law, where he was the editor of the Journal of International Law and Commerce. While attending the Syracuse University College of Law, he served as an extern for the Syracuse University Office of Athletic Compliance and as a student attorney for the law school’s Community Development Law Clinic.
