Goldberg Segalla added associate Jonathan E. Groth to the firm’s General Liability Practice Group in Miami. Jonathan focuses the majority of his practice on defending clients in commercial litigation and personal injury matters.
Jonathan earned his bachelor’s at the University of Connecticut, graduating with a Certificate of Professional Development in Global Business Leadership. He went on to Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, where he graduated cum laude and served as staff editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. Jonathan was also the school’s chief representative to the American Bar Association (ABA) Student Division as well as the 5th Circuit Lieutenant Governor for South Florida, and served as research assistant to Dean Emeritus Joseph Harbaugh, aiding with research and editing for the professor’s book and article manuscripts.
In addition to his legal practice, Jonathan is co-founder, lead copywriter, and chief legal counsel of Happee Manatee, a boutique, Miami-based creative shop specializing in brand re-design, web design, public relations, social media strategy, and legal services for startups.
