Paul focuses his practice on the defense and counsel of insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in complex workers’ compensation matters. His practice includes all stages of the workers’ compensation claims process, from the initial evaluation of a claim through defense preparation, witness and expert depositions, and hearings, as well as drafting and negotiating favorable settlements for his clients. Paul’s experience also includes personal injury, Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA), and employment discrimination litigation.
Prior to law school, Paul served as a squad leader in the U.S. Marine Corps infantry and deployed twice to Afghanistan, including once to Garmsir, where he managed a squad-sized patrol base, including logistics and patrols in conjunction with the Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police.
Paul earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University and his juris doctor from the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
