Goldberg Segalla added Peter C. Lenart to the firm’s Construction group in Orlando.
Peter is an accomplished litigator who focuses his practice on representing design professionals, builders, product manufacturers, and other clients in trucking, transportation, and construction matters. He draws on more than 15 years of experience managing complex commercial litigation and corporate transactional matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida and Massachusetts. Peter has represented a variety of businesses and licensed professionals in construction defect litigation, commercial real estate, environmental remediation matters, employment and labor matters, contract disputes, and Bernard Madoff-related financial fraud claims. He regularly counsels clients on risk management, best practices, and other big-picture issues affecting their businesses.
Peter has served as claims counsel nationally, as well as litigation counsel, at a Boston-based, multi-state construction litigation firm. He also draws on experience as a former assistant state attorney in Miami Dade-County and as a contract attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division.
Peter earned his bachelor’s degree from The Catholic University of America and his juris doctor from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. In addition, he earned a master’s degree in global hospitality leadership from Georgetown University and a certification in Hotel Industry Analytics from The American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute.
