Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Thais Derjangocyan

Goldberg Segalla added Thais Derjangocyan to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group in Manhattan.

Thais focuses her practice on counseling and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. She is involved in every stage of the workers’ compensation claims process from inception through resolution, including depositions, settlement negotiations, mediations, and preparation of petitions and motions. While attending law school, Thais gained experience through a variety of legal internships where she performed research and writing for a regulatory intelligence product serving financial institutions, regulatory agencies, congressional staffers, and trade associations. She also drafted motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment for the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court.

Thais earned her B.S. from the Fashion Institute of Technology and her J.D. from the New York Law School.
