Thomas focuses his practice on counseling and representing clients in the retail and hospitality industries in a variety of matters, including commercial litigation and arbitration, retail and corporate law and transactions, and general liability defense. Prior to entering private practice, he was a law clerk with North American Breweries and at the Center for Elder Law and Justice. During his clerkship, he researched, copyedited, and assisted in drafting over 200 blog posts for the firm’s award-winning Sports and Entertainment Law Insider blog.
Thomas pursued his bachelor’s degree at the Pennsylvania State University and his juris doctor at the University at Buffalo School at Law, where he was involved with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society as a vice president and the Finance and Law Society as a secretary. He also volunteers his time to Bunkers in Baghdad, a nonprofit charity at helps our troops by collecting and sending new and used golf balls, clubs, and equipment to U.S. troops in over 70 countries around the world.
