Goldberg Segalla added two attorneys to its Chicago office: associate Timothy P. Loftus to the firm’s Global Insurance Services group and associate Lyndsay M. Cook to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group.
Tim represents large national insurers in coverage matters venued throughout Illinois and across the country. He focuses his practice on preparing coverage opinions as well as litigating complex coverage matters for first- and third-party insurance coverage disputes. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Southern Illinois University and his juris doctor at the University of Illinois College of Law. During law school, Tim spent time as a law clerk at Goldberg Segalla, where he focused on insurance coverage, products liability, and sports and entertainment law. He was also a legal extern with the Illinois Department of Labor.
Lyndsay focuses her practice on defending corporations and insurance companies in a wide variety of workers’ compensation claims before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and various downstate venues. She handles all aspects of the litigation process from beginning to end, including mediations, depositions, appeals, and trials. Lyndsay attended The Ohio State University where she received her bachelor’s degree before she went on to receive her juris doctor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
