Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce James M. Paulino II has joined the law firm as an associate in its Rochester office. He is a member of the firm’s Business and Commercial and Global Insurance Services Practice Groups.
Jimmy represents individuals and corporations in complex insurance coverage, intellectual property, labor and employment, and professional malpractice matters, as well as domestic and international contract disputes. His experience includes numerous mediation and settlement negotiations, including the negotiation of a multi-million-dollar settlement, and both the prosecution and defense of personal injury and medical malpractice actions. In addition, Jimmy has represented clients in education law and First Amendment religious freedom matters.
He was the 2013 recipient of the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award, given by the Young Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association to recognize a young lawyer for outstanding service to both the community and the legal profession.
Jimmy received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2007, his M.A. from the University of York (England) in 2005, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Rochester in 2003.
