M. Regina Phillips, a partner in the firm’s New York office, has been named a Champion of Wise Women by a client for her continual efforts to advocate for women through her website and blog, Power of the Flowers. The blog, which features stories of women alongside their successes and struggles, serves as an ever-updated list of resources to educate, guide, and provide support for women who are “finding their way to the thing (or things) they do best.”
Regina has worked with her client, a nationally known assisted living facility, and its directors for years to defend the interests of the organization. She was asked to speak at its annual Women’s Day event, where she discussed the fundamental importance of women’s advocacy and her journey to becoming an advocate, when she was awarded the honor.
A member of the firm’s Long-Term Care, Product Liability, Trucking, and Life Sciences practices, Regina focuses on cases involving allegations of medical malpractice and and general negligence. She brings to each case an exceptional degree of understanding of injuries and the medical field from her previous career as a New York City paramedic.
