Peter J. Woo, vice-chair of Goldberg Segalla’s Employment and Labor practice, has been nominated to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2020 list of Leaders in Law for the second year in a row. Peter was recognized for his exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership, and contributions to the Los Angeles community at-large. Only approximately 150 out of 35,000 attorneys in the Greater Los Angeles area are handpicked to receive this honor.

The Los Angeles Business Journal will honor Peter and the accomplishments of leading attorneys and firms within the Los Angeles business community at its virtual event on November 18, 2020.
Peter joined the Goldberg Segalla team in 2017 as vice chair of the Employment and Labor practice and member of the leadership committee of the Management and Professional Liability practice. Peter also serves as senior administrative partner of Goldberg Segalla’s Los Angeles office, helping to lead a fast-growing group of over 30 lawyers across the firm’s California footprint. He also serves on the firmwide Diversity Task Force. Peter is a prominent member of professional groups including the National Asian American Association of Professionals, the Korean American Bar Association, and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, as well as the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), and the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA).
Peter J. Woo is a trusted counsel to his business and corporate clients who have benefited from his vast legal knowledge and experience gained in his litigation, trial, and outside general counsel practice. He is a volunteer attorney for the Los Angeles County Bar Association Domestic Violence Legal Services Project, assisting with preparing the paperwork necessary to adequately protect survivors of violence and their children, including sexually abused minors and abused elderly persons. While practicing on the east coast, Peter served as an associate board member and volunteer attorney for the Korean American Family Service Center located in Queens, New York, whose mission is to provide services to domestic violence survivors and their families in need.
