Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce that Rina E. Lee has joined the firm as an associate in its Garden City office and as a member of its growing Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense.
Rina’s legal background includes representing large corporate clients in hearings before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board and at trial, and she has extensive experience drafting and filing appeals, rebuttals, memoranda of law, and hearing reports. She is adept at reviewing and distilling complex medical files and conducting extensive legal research of statutes, case law, and city codes in order to best position her cases and clients for success.
While earning her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, Rina held legal internships with the Federal Trade Commission and the Office of the Georgia Attorney General. She was a Merit Scholar recipient and a semi-finalist in the Emory Moot Court Competition, and also was actively involved in its Asian-American Law Student Association. She served as a Facilitator for Emory’s Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques.
