Alexandra B. Simon
Alexandra B. Simon counsels and defends clients in complex workers’ compensation litigation, devoting a significant part of her practice to construction-related matters and handling the distinctive workers’ compensation challenges that arise in that industry. Her experience includes handling all aspects of trial, evaluating claims, negotiating settlement agreements, and deposing medical experts in cases arising from World Trade Center claims, occupational disabilities, repetitive stress, and fraud under New York State Workers’ Compensation Law.
As a law student, Alexandra participated in a study abroad program in Germany, where she spent a summer in Berlin studying international constitutional law and international human rights. She gained additional experience as a legal intern with the Nassau County Legal Aid Society, where she represented indigent defendants at criminal arraignments. She also interned at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office in the Special Victim’s Bureau.
