Alexandra M. Velella
Alexandra M. Velella counsels and defends employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. She handles all aspects of the litigation process from beginning to end, including mediations, depositions, appeals, and trials. With a background in handling workers’ compensation matters on the claimant side, Alexandra has considerable knowledge of the claims process and offers unique insights to her clients.
Following law school, Alexandra held a clerkship with the State University of New York at Albany, where she drafted memoranda regarding trademark and copyright use and web accessibility compliance standards established under the Americans with Disabilities Act. While attending the Brooklyn Law School, she served as an intern with the Family Court Legal Services in the Administration for Children’s Services.
