Experience
Angela M. Pugliese-Ulmer has more than 10 years of experience counseling and defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in venues throughout New York State. She defends clients in a wide range of workers’ compensation claims involving toxic exposures and soft tissue injuries. Angela has extensive experience handling appeals, trials, depositions, and rebuttals before the Workers’ Compensation Board and New York State Appellate Division.
Angela also serves as chair of Goldberg Segalla’s Opioid Impact Team. The Opioid Impact Program is a litigation tool that helps clients reduce the cost of prescription medications and settlements by working with clients’ Pharmacy Benefit Management and other programs that encourage voluntary reduction of prescription medications.
