Cory S. Novak

Cory S. Novak counsels insurers on complex coverage matters under a variety of policies, and handles insurance coverage litigation and regulatory matters as well as environmental law. He draws on experience in commercial litigation and defense at a leading insurance provider for personal and commercial policies. In addition, Cory has represented public and private sector clients regarding state and federal environmental laws such as the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and others. He also offers in-depth knowledge related to the regulation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Cory has judicial and regulatory experience clerking in the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and in the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals. He is a past chair of the Government and Private Sector Innovation Committee of the American Bar Association.
