Daniel L. Maisel

Daniel L. Maisel focuses his practice on representing clients in complex workers’ compensation claims. He counsels and defends insurers, employers, and third-party administrators in all stages of workers’ compensation litigation from inception to appeal, and draws on more than 25 years of experience with workers’ compensation actions in vicinages throughout the state of New Jersey. Dan’s civil litigation experience also includes defense of personal injury and construction litigation, conducting all facets of discovery, researching and drafting motion briefs, appellate briefs and other legal memoranda, drafting and filing pleadings, and representing clients in court and at depositions.
Before joining private practice, Dan served as an assistant prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutors’ Office, and was a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Julius A. Feinberg of the Superior Court, State of New Jersey in Essex County.
