Danielle E. Meyer
Danielle E. Meyer represents owners, architects, developers, engineers, contractors, and other businesses in general liability and commercial matters throughout North Carolina, appearing before courts and in various alternative dispute resolution (ADR) forums. Drawing on previous experience in-house at a general contracting company, Danielle assists clients with numerous construction-related issues, including construction site injuries, contractor liability for unlicensed subcontractors, construction defects and design defects, architect licensure issues, construction delay, acceleration and compression, and contract payment provisions. Her experience also includes ownership transition agreements and contract negotiations for large construction projects.
Prior to entering private practice, Danielle worked in a variety of operational and legal capacities at a New Jersey-based general contracting company, where she drafted owner and subcontractor contracts. During law school, she gained additional experience through internships with the District of Columbia Office of Zoning and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
