Ellen D. Saunig
Ellen D. Saunig counsels and defends employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters, and represents them before the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission. She regularly litigates claims involving accidental injury, repetitive trauma, and apportionment across a wide variety of workplaces and industries throughout Connecticut. Ellen draws on several years of experience as an attorney with the U.S. Federal Labor Relations Authority in Washington, D.C. and Boston, where she primarily focused on labor law, as well as on experience in life insurance regulatory matters with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.
While in law school, Ellen gained experience through internships with the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Transportation, and a law firm based in Washington, D.C.
