James Austin Meehan
James Austin Meehan focuses his practice on civil litigation for corporations, insurance companies, and individuals in automobile liability, premises liability, and product defect claims involving catastrophic accidents in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He also counsels companies in construction site accident matters, complex commercial disputes, malpractice claims, employment matters, and contract negotiations.
Prior to entering private practice, James was senior vice president of operations/director of business development at InsiderAdvantage, Inc., an online news agency focusing on daily business, politics, and cultural issues. In this role, James developed and executed client acquisition and retention campaigns in 13 southern states.
James represents commercial trucking and automobile companies in accident claims alleging personal injury and property damage. His background includes defending a major jury trial negligence action arising from a multi-vehicle intersection accident and a case settled before trial within arbitration limits.
James defends a variety of business and professional liability claims involving managerial decisions, alleged design miscalculations, and alleged misrepresentation and breaches of fiduciary duties.
