Jessica M. Lazarin
Jessica M. Lazarin focuses her practice on counseling clients in all phases of civil litigation and administrative proceedings. She defends clients in commercial litigation and appellate matters. Jessica draws on her experience as deputy corporation counsel for the City of Buffalo Department of Law, where she served as counsel to the City of Buffalo Common Council and various city boards. Her background also includes directing the City of Buffalo Office of New Americans, where she established priorities, facilitated community outreach, and built partnerships to ensure access to city services by Buffalo’s growing refugee and immigrant communities.
Earlier in her career, Jessica was in private practice with a local firm, and a staff attorney for the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project. While attending Cornell Law School, she served as an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York, and an extern at the Office of the Attorney General of California in San Diego.
