Kristen A. Hazlet
Associate
Kristen A. Hazlet counsels and defends insurers, employers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. She is involved in every stage of the litigation process from inception through resolution, including conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and preparing petitions and motions. Kristen has also represented employers in discrimination claims brought under Section 120 of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law.
During law school, Kristen held a variety of internships and clerkships, including an internship to the Hon. Nicholas Rattal in the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County, a clerkship with the Enforcement Targeting and Data Division in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and an internship with the Domestic Violence Division of the D.C. Superior Court.
