R. Will Stewart
Will Stewart counsels and defends clients in a variety of complex civil litigation claims with a particular focus on construction matters. He concentrates a portion of his practice on real estate title litigation and coverage, drawing on experience as a claims attorney for the largest title insurance company in the United States. His background includes advising representatives, financial planners, and investment advisers in regulatory compliance. He is experienced in all phases and aspects of discovery, mediations, arbitrations, appellate briefings, and hearings.
During law school, Will held internships with Stadion Wealth Management and Digital Risk. He also gained experience in a hybrid accounting and finance role at Trustpoint International prior to attending law school.
- Will has significant experience advising and defending owners and lenders in real estate and title litigation matters in various jurisdictions. Drawing on experience as a claims counsel at a nationwide title insurance company, he has successfully resolved numerous disputes through both formal mediation and informal negotiation processes. He has also handled title and priority issue litigation concerning property line disputes, mechanic’s liens, easements, notices of lis pendens, and adverse possession claims.
