Vikas Bowry
Associate
Vikas Bowry counsels and defends clients in a variety of complex civil litigation claims with a focus on the transportation industry. He draws on experience representing self-insured entities with respect to premises and product liability matters. Vikas’ background also includes working as a member of a special investigations unit, representing insurance entities in third-party suits arising from questionable claims, handling in-depth investigations, and preparing opinions relating to misrepresentations.
During law school, Vikas also gained experience as an intern at the Widener Law Veterans Clinic as well as to the Hon. Lisette Shirdan-Harris of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division. After completing law school, Vikas served as a judicial fellow to Judge Shirdan-Harris, and proceeded to serve as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Edward C. Wright, both of the Court of Common Pleas, First Judicial District. Upon completion of the clerkship, Vikas joined the City of Philadelphia Law Department as an assistant city solicitor, where he represented the Department of Human Services in dependency and child abuse matters.
