Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce Meghan M. Brown and Ryan G. Pitman have joined the law firm as associates in its Buffalo office.

Ms. Brown joins the firm’s General Liability Practice Group. She focuses her practice on general liability, including matters involving personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home defense. Her experience includes private practice in civil litigation and serving for two years as a law clerk at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, in Rochester.

She received B.S. and B.A. degrees, cum laude, from the University of Rochester in 2000; her M.A. from Columbia University in 2002; her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2006.

Mr. Pitman, also a member of the Business and Commercial Practice Group, focuses his practice on commercial litigation and business counseling, including disputes relating to shareholder conflicts, commercial leases, sales agreements, promissory notes, loan sale agreements, and construction contracts. He also has experience representing clients targeted by regulatory compliance actions and government investigations.

He received his B.S., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2009.
